Report a suspicious online seller of medicines or medical devices

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regulates medicines and medical devices in the UK. Selling fake or unauthorised products online can have serious health consequences and is illegal.

Use this service to report a website or online seller you think is offering medicines or medical devices illegally. If you want to report side-effects of a medicine or medical device, use the Yellow Card reporting service instead.

Anyone can report an illegal online seller, and you can do it anonymously.

Before you start

You will need:

  • Information about why you want to report it
  • Information about the online seller, such as social media name or website address (URL)

You can also provide:

  • Photographs of the product, including its packaging
  • A screenshot of the website or online seller
  • The seller's name or telephone number
  • Emails, sales receipts or messages from the seller
